The organization qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c)(3) of the internal revenue code. Accordingly, no provision for federal income taxes has been made in the accompanying financial statements. The organization believes it maintains appropriate support for any tax positions taken, and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions (based on a "more-likely-than-not" standard for substantiation) that would be material to the financial statements taken as a whole.
