“The csp&p railway was incorporated for the educational purpose of expanding the general knowledge of the role that railroads have played in our lives and history, with a focus on the inventions and developments involved in railroads in america and the world and the metal working and fabrication skills and techniques of this same era.”

“Educational activities conducted: february 7th, ground hog run april 4th, public safety appreciation run may 7th - 10th, spring invitational run july 4th, independence day run july 18th, garden railway visit september 17th - 22nd, fall invitational run september 24th, canton lions club cook out october 24th, friends and family run november 27th, turkey run guests consisted of people who had expressed interest in our railroad and railroad history. We demonstrated the operation of trains and explained the process of building track, turnouts, and the use of related equipment in our workshop. We discussed the role railroads played in building our country.”
