“The hall county 4-h program provided approximately 760 educational programs in the areas of science enrichment, agricultural awareness, public speaking, life skills, target sports skills, leadership and community service to youth ages 9-19 years old living in hall county, georgia. Approximately 2,000 individuals participated in 4-h programs, counting each session separately, throughout 2016. This includes each 5th grade program, middle school programs, high school programs, judging teams, community clubs and special events. The hall county master gardener program provides educational programs in the areas of horticulture and gardeniing. The program has approximately 160 volunteers who gave hall county cooperative extension over 18,000 hours of community volunteer time in 2016. Programs include youth gardening, ask a master gardener at public events, educational classes, demonstration gardens, and office assistance with gardening questions.”
