Onesimus Report for 2021The Onesimus project, part of the CE Association, continued its activities in thenew year. The two-week thematic group sessions continued to take place in twosmall groups, in the Erdoszentgyrgy group and in the third year group. Ourmentors tried to adhere to the monthly regularity of mentoring, despite the factthat their encounters with young people were hampered by ever-changingepidemiological rules. In addition to the regular programs, we have coloredOnesimus with a number of other eventsJanuaryThe first big group occasion of the year was an afternoon with board games andfilming. The exciting foosball and darts tournament was followed by a moviecalled Tales from the Prison Cell. Our guest was also the director of the film, bel Visky, who was happy to answer questions from young people.FebruaryDuring the winter holidays, the usual skiing day, which is repeated annually, was organized. Together with the young people of the Dorcas home, we enjoyedthe snow, the skiing, the sledding, the beauties of the Bucsin landscape, the daywe spent together.MarchThe Serve and Get to Know team (Szolglj s ismerkedj) from the local ChurchKvesdomb surprised our young people with a common soul day and iceskating. The central theme of the Soul Day was forgiveness. It was a builder forall of us to meet and talk with young people who are exemplary in faith andhumanity. The joint skating ended the day with experience.Together with Tiniklub, a series of partner workshops took place, where invitedyoung couples and married couples gave testimony and handrails so thatsuccessful, happy relationships could develop. Participants had the opportunityto ask questions and explore the topic in a joint discussion. The series wasclosed by a workshop about sexuality.AprilTogether with Tiniklub (Teenager Club), we went on a trip to Szkelyvcke, where we visited the village museum, the church and admired the old, traditional houses. As we made the crossroads, we filled ourselves spiritually, and then we rested and fell silent in the chapel on the roof. Before returninghome, we even climbed the lookout and admired the beauty of the landscapeand the surrounding area. As joint birthday parties were missed in the firstquarter of the year due to epidemiological rules, we now greeted thosecelebrated at a large joint birthday party.MayOne of the highlights of this month was a trip to Sovata, full of sunshine andexperiences. The uniqueness of the Svidk landscape, the mystery of theforests and the smell of the salty air provided an ideal environment for thenature competition organized for our young people.Due to restrictions, we were only able to organize our work camp for one day. With their enthusiastic, hard work, the young people helped prepare our campsite in Bucsin for the summer season.June-July-August-September were Vacation time.OctoberWe started the new school year of Onesimus with a grand opening. Playfulsummer experiences, quizzes, greetings, instructive devotion, delicious pizzasmade the resumption after a long vacation joyful. After the lack of a summercoordinator, a new staff member, Ibolya Virgins, a social worker, took over thecoordination of the project.NovemberRozlia Rka Kovcs, a psychologist, gave an interactive session on verbalaggression to the young people. The film presentation of the most commonforms of aggression in our everyday life was followed by the sharing of theyoung people's own experiences, and then we closed the opportunity bydiscussing the possible solutions together. We also launched a new Onesimus group with 16 young enthusiasts.DecemberWe were preparing to dress our interiors for a celebratory DIY party, and tomake decorations with which we can make our environment and home morebeautiful and solemn. We closed the year with a soul-raising occasion, which was attended not onlyby our young people but also by our volunteers. We invited Erzsbet Zalnyi tobring the message of Christmas close to us, our soul, with the method of theKett pedagogy. After the greeting speech of our headmistress, we delighted theyoung people with gift packages. After the festive occasion, we returned to our homes with a joyful heart, beinggrateful to our Creator for blessing our lives, events and projects richlythroughout the year.$32,195$32,195
