“One voice, inc. Is the gay, lesbian, and gay-affirmative chorus of charlotte. Through artistic excellence, one voice works to increase understanding and acceptance of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. Our achievement in choral music enables us to reach diverse groups to overcome misconceptions and to grow personally, both as performers and as leaders in our community. One voice provides a welcoming place for lgbtqia+ people to express their musical artistry together by performing as a non-auditioned group and as part of our small ensemble, sotto voce.”

“One voice presented three in-person concerts and two mini performances to support other lgbtqia+ nonprofit organizations. Each production featured music that celebrates equality for lgbtqia+ people. One voice cultivates partnerships that advocate for the inclusion of lgbtqia+ perspectives throughout our community.”
