“Longue vue is a mid-20th century decorative arts museum whose programming is based off of the family's collections, including 18th - 20th century furniture, 19th century needlework and the largest collection of creamware ceramics on public view outside of england. A collection of early 20th century art includes sculpture, painting and textiles from notable artist such as agam, picasso and vasarely. Educational programming highlighting particular items or collections within the home as well as those using the collection as a spring board of ideas in the design and arts fields bring in visitors of all ages.”

“The corporation qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and, accordingly, is not subject to federal income tax. The corporation applies a "more-likely-than-not" recognition threshold for all tax uncertainties. This approach only allows the recognition of those tax benefits that have a greater than 50% likelihood of being sustained upon examination by the taxing authorities. As a result of implementing this approach, the corporation has reviewed its tax positions and determined there were no outstanding or retroactive tax positions with less than a 50% likelihood of being sustained upon examination by the taxing authorities. Therefore, the implementation of this standard has not had a material effect on the corporation. The corporation's tax returns for the years ended december 31, 2012, 2011, and 2010 remain open and subject to examination by taxing authorities. The corporation's tax return for the year ended december 31, 2013 has not been filed yet and is on valid extension.”
