THERE ARE CURRENTLY MORE THAN 120,000 AMERICANS AWAITING LIFESAVING TRANSPLANTS. WHILE 90 PERCENT OF AMERICANS SAY THAT THEY SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION, ONLY 30% KNOW THE ESSENTIAL STEPS TO TAKE TO BE A DONOR. IN 2013, THE TRANSPLANT CHALLENGE PROGRAM EXPANDED ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MEMPHIS REDBIRDS MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM AND BROUGHT THE ORGAN DONOR AWARENESS CAMPAIGN, CALLED RAISE HOPE WITH ROCKY, TO LOCAL PRIVATE SCHOOLS. DURING THE PAST FISCAL YEAR, THE TRANSPLANT CHALLENGE MESSAGE HAS REACHED NEARLY 155,000 INDIVIDUALS THROUGH VARIOUS EVENTS AND MULTI-MEDIA CHANNELS.
