“Membership in the society is open to individuals, organizations, institutions, and corporations interested in advancing the purposes of the society. The members of the society shall consist of honorary members,annual members, and such other classes as the board of trustees may decide from time to time. Each member of the society shall be entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to a vote of the members. As it relates to the election of officers, each member of the board of trustees (except the honorary chairperson) shall be entitled to one vote at meetings of the board of trustees.”

“The executive director, who possesses the organization's books and records, reviews form 990, consults with its accountants about any changes to be made to it and sends it to the society's president or treasurer for final review and approval. The president or treasurer provides e-file signature authorization to the accountants through irs form 8879-eo to electronically file the return on behalf of the society.”

“The organization did not change its oversight process or selection process during the organization's year ended 12/31/2024. However, several officers of the organization reached their term and were replaced as follows: john n. Bolus - president replacing halsey g. Knapp, jr. William g. Parker, jr. - vice president, alabama replacing julian d. Butler norman e. Zoller - secretary replacing john m. Tatum as of 12/31/2024 the vice president position for georgia remains vacant.”
