We reached 299,859 individuals were reached through newsletters, social media, technical support and resources provided on our website. 74 Pinwheel plantings occured during Child Abuse Prevention Month across the state. We advocate for policies that prioritize all children and families and produced 3 new Policy Toolkits focusing on advocacy, child sexual abuse, prevention, and medical professionals. We offer data-driven coaching and professional development opportunities for agencies across the state. We expanded NC Family Resource Centers across the state in partnership with 30 organizations, and helped build accessible hubs for families seeking, resources and essential concrete support. The Prevention Action Network is an affiliation of agencies and individuals who are invested in developing safe, stable, nurturing relationships for all North Carolina children. Member organizations and individuals are committed to prenting child abuse and neglect by strengthening and supporting families in their communities. During this period 51 agencies across the state received coaching and technical assistance to support quality delivery of parenting programs, and 46,157 individuals completed online child abuse prevention based training courses. |
