“The organization has members comprised of 18 metro-atlanta counties. The council shall be comprised exclusively of the following organizations: 1. Local unions of national & international unions and organizing committees affiliated with the afl-cio, and local unions chartered by the afl-cio; 2. Local councils chartered by trade and industrial departments of the afl-cio; 3. Joint boards, district councils and similar subordinate organizations, which are duly chartered by an affiliate of the afl-cio; 4. A union retiree club/chapter; 5. Constituency groups that are approved and recognized by the afl-cio, including the alliance for retired americans; 6. Local union with solidarity chapters authorized by the executive council of the afl-cio”

“Members have the power to elect members of the governing body. Representation in the organization shall be upon the following basis: local union having 100 members or less one (1) delegate and one (1) vote. For each additional hundred or any fraction thereof, one (1) delegate and one (1) vote.”
