2.The Summerville Exchange Club Fundraises in three ways. First, they sell reserved seat tickets for Football games at the Summerville High School Stadium, which they built in the late 1940's. They also sell advertising on the video board that they constructed in the stadium. This money goes for capital projects in support of Summerville Football and other athletic programs. It has been used to purchase athletic busses, pay for the video board, and send the football team to camp over the years along with several other projects. 80%The Summerville Exchange Clubs other fundraising involves raising money for the "Dorchester Children's Center." This 501 (c) (3) organization works with those children who have been abused in our local area. The Exchange Club holds a golf tournament each year to raise these funds, and has made a commitment to fund a $6,000 grant for a period of five years. That period ended several years ago, but the club decided to make this an on going commitment. 20%
