Additional Explanations

FORM 990, PART XI, LINE 9:

ROUNDING 1.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The foundation is exempt from the federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and therefore has made no provision for federal income taxes in the accompanying financial statements. In addition, the foundation has been determined by the internal revenue service not to be a "private foundation" within the meaning of section 509(a) of the internal revenue code. There was no unrelated business income for the year ended june 30, 2024. The most significant tax position of the foundation is its assertion that it is exempt from income taxes and its determination of whether any amounts are subject to unrelated business tax, (ubit). All significant tax positions have been considered by management. It has been determined that it is more likely than not that all tax positions would be sustained upon examination by taxing authorities. The foundation files form 990 return of foundation exempt from income tax to the us federal government and the state of south carolina.
