To help catalyze charleston's next wave of economic development, crda is working with numerous stakeholders to spur innovation-focused investments and entrepreneurial opportunities in the region. Fy23-24 initiatives ranged from analyzing focus areas for a regional innovation center of excellence to supporting a biotech business accelerator and emerging life sciences innovation district. We also engaged a global consulting firm to develop an innovation-led regional economic development strategy, which will be finalized in december 2024.”
