“The organization accomplished its mission by hosting networking events such as business after hours and a golf tournament; providing information to the public regarding legislative matters, hosting business education workshops and coordinating and partnering with other local entities to plan and host activities that promote community engagement; by coordinating and promoting tourism events such as the christmas tour of homes, agriculture & art tour; a farmers and artisans market; by supporting the young professionals group aimed at 21-40 year-olds who live and/or work in newberry county; and by engaging in ongoing conversations with government officials, school personnel, and businesses so that we can be kept abreast of the various climates and provide support to identified needs.”
