Volunteer opportunities at one80 place exist for groups, community kitchen volunteers, special events, food drives, and move-in kit drives. If you are interested in any volunteer opportunities you will need to register first on our website.

Form 990, Part III

First accomplishment - continued one80 place legal legal services are designed to help clients obtain and maintain housing. Two staff attorneys and a paralegal assist clients in obtaining veteran benefits and other forms of income to ensure long-term housing stability. Through community based efforts such as housing court, attorneys work to prevent evictions that may result in homelessness. One80 place training a five-week culinary training course that takes place in one80 place's community kitchen, taught by our staff and community partners. Trainees learn culinary skills and techniques, become servsafe certified, and are placed in new jobs.

Veterans services: grant and per diem program in partnership with the local va medical center, one80 place provides temporary housing and supportive services for men and women who have served in the military. Dedicated staff who understand the unique challenges homeless veterans face provide services to shorten the time a veteran spends without a home. Supportive services for veteran families preventing and ending homelessness for veterans and their families is a top priority. Services are designed to help the veteran identify housing barriers and then develop a plan to overcome those barriers. Temporary rental and utility assistance, combined with supportive services help veterans achieve and maintain housing stability.
