Neither the organization nor the project are subject to income taxes. The organization is exempt from federal income tax under internal revenue code section 501(a) as an organization described in section 501(c)(3) and is subject to federal and state income taxes only on net unrelated business income. Management has determined that the organization has no current obligations for unrelated business income tax. Accordingly, no provision for federal and state income taxes is included in the organization's financial statements. The organization is not classified as a private foundation.
