Additionally, the organization is not a private foundation pursuant to internal revenue code section 509(a)(1). The organization does not believe that there are any material uncertain tax positions and accordingly, it will not recognize any asset or liability for unrecognized tax benefits or obligations. The tax returns of the organization are subject to examination by federal and state authorities. As of december 31, 2013, the organization has a number of open tax years with various taxing jurisdictions that range from 2010 to 2012.”
