As part of the normal process of management, officers and directors are given the information used to prepare the annual form 990, as well as the return itself. A monthly report is filed by the organization's treasurer containing information and operational data regarding funds received as to source and disbursed during the period.

Form 990, Page 6, Part VI, Line 15B

The organization for over fifty years has been staffed by volunteers, as of the latter part of 2017, cleveland county requested all volunteer departments make available personnel to maintain specific on-call time each week with the volunteers being paid by public funds. This gave the county the ability to provide fire service to its citizens without the necessity and expense of further real and personal property costs to its citizens. This is the first time in its history that anyone has been compensated for their participation.

The volunteer department, being a small organization that has existed for over fifty years to fight fire and to educate the public regarding fire prevention, provides this annual report form 990 for inspection by the public and other interested parties upon request.
