Financial Statement Notes

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The Organization implemented the provisions of FASB ASC Topic 740, Accounting for Uncertainty in income taxes FIN 48, as of January 1, 2010. FIN 48 prescribes a minimum recognition threshold and measurement methodology that a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return is required to meet before being recognized in the financial statements. For the corporation, tax positions taken include the entity's status as a not- for- profit corporation and the approval and qualifications for this status. The Corporation files an annual Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service and its tax returns for the Years 2021 and subsequent years remain subject to examination by the tax authorities.

FIN 48 prescribes a minimum recognition threshold and measurement methodology that a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return is required to meet before being recognized in the financial statements. For the corporation, tax positions taken include the entity's status as a not- for- profit corporation and the approval and qualifications for this status. The Corporation files an annual Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service and its tax returns for the Years 2021 and subsequent years remain subject to examination by the tax authorities.
