“The eddie pope foundation strives to serve vulnerable youth in "at risk" communities. In these communities there are young people at risk of becoming victims or perpetrators of violence;drug abusers or dealers;teen parents and or products of poor educational opportunities. The foundation seeks to develop these childrens minds, bodies and spirits through after school and summer programs centered around soccer and life skill development. The foundation specifically seeks to increase positive academic performance and enrollment in post high school education, decrease child obesity and teach these children how to develop positive community relationships.”

“Increased soccer awareness amoung inner city children through free recreational soccer programs at elementary schools and local recreation centers. Taught basic and intermediate skills to children ages 4-14. Formed competitive teams and organized games with referees.”
