The services to youth, international trends and services, and arts facets worked to raise the academic achievement levels of elementary and college students in ways that prepare them to succeed in the global economy through the following programs: (1) provided library books, teaching aids, supplies and enrichment programs at reaching all minds stem academy, pathways elementary school, and fayetteville street elementary school. (2)created the tpc academy of arts and humanities at global scholars academy a program that seeks to develop the talents of youth and expose them to various forms of artistic expression. (3)supported uncf and through our hbcu initiative, with a mission to increase the retention and graduation rate of students at saint augustine's university, gave scholarships,created an emergency fund, assisted international students, and offered educational workshops.

The health and human services, national trends and services, and services to youth facets promoted and supported the maintenance of good health and the elimination of chronic health disparities in communities of color in the following ways: (1)in collaboration with the food bank of central and eastern north carolina, through the back pack buddies program, provided food for children on a weekly basis at burton elementary school. 2)conducted a kids cook with heat program designed to address childhood obesity at reaching all minds stem academy. 3)offered mental and physical health education programs and contributed to indigent health care. The national trends and services facet contributed to the naacp and offered workshops and programs that support the safety, empowerment, and voting rights of individuals and communities.
