“During the organizations board and staff development each year, definitions and examples of conflicts of interest are discussed. All board and staff members sign a conflict of interest policy. Additionally, the NC Council for Women provides oversight to ensure these policies are upheld.”
“The Personnel Committee reviews the EDs performance and makes recommendations to the Finance Committee. The Finance Committee reviewes and discusses the recommendations of the Personnel Committee and the EDs salary request. Before making a decision the Finance Committee does extensive research.”
