The association strives to educate and support members, contribute to the local community, and represent the local, state, and national building industry. A. Membership enrollment for 2024 was more than 1,200 members. B. The association delivered a full slate of educational offerings, including ace courses, member seminars, code updates, and workforce development partnerships with schools, colleges, and community organizations. C. The association publishes regular electronic and print communication pieces for members and other business/governmental leaders providing information on the industry and upcoming events and educational offerings. D. The association maintains a website for the association which lists a full directory of members, provides updated information, meeting and event dates, as well as education offerings and industry information. E. Special events are held during the year to raise money to carry on the exempt purpose of the association. Members are encouraged to become involved with the association to help carry on the exempt purpose. F. The association expanded their special events to include an annual gala, build & remodel expo, professional women in building programs, local insustry nights, casino night, two golf tournaments, battle of the builders and numerous other networking events. G. The association strengthed advocacy efforts by monitoring policy changes, engaging with local and regional leaders, and promoting pro- housing strategies to support wnc's growing needs. H. The association expnaded industry partnerships to cultivate a skilled workforce pipeline and increase awareness of career opportunities in the construction trades. I. The association supported long-term regional recovery following hurricane helene, which significantly impacted members, their families, and the local community. They established and led a multi-commitee disaster recovery task force to coordinate volunteer support, resource distribution, partner collaboration, and communication throughout the rebuilding process. They ended the year navigating unprecedented challenges as the association worked closely with members to address storm impacts, stabilize operations and strengthen community resilience.

THE ASSOCIATION PUBLISHES REGULAR ELECTRONIC AND PRINT COMMUNICATION PIECES FOR MEMBERS AND OTHER BUSINESS/GOVERNMENTAL LEADERS PROVIDING INFORMATION ON THE INDUSTRY AND UPCOMING EVENTS AND EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS. D. THE ASSOCIATION MAINTAINS A WEBSITE FOR THE ASSOCIATION WHICH LISTS A FULL DIRECTORY OF MEMBERS, PROVIDES UPDATED INFORMATION, MEETING AND EVENT DATES, AS WELL AS EDUCATION OFFERINGS AND INDUSTRY INFORMATION. E. SPECIAL EVENTS ARE HELD DURING THE YEAR TO RAISE MONEY TO CARRY ON THE EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION. MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BECOME INVOLVED WITH THE ASSOCIATION TO HELP CARRY ON THE EXEMPT PURPOSE. F. THE ASSOCIATION EXPANDED THEIR SPECIAL EVENTS TO INCLUDE AN ANNUAL GALA, BUILD & REMODEL EXPO, PROFESSIONAL WOMEN IN BUILDING PROGRAMS, LOCAL INSUSTRY NIGHTS, CASINO NIGHT, TWO GOLF TOURNAMENTS, BATTLE OF THE BUILDERS AND NUMEROUS OTHER NETWORKING EVENTS. G. THE ASSOCIATION STRENGTHED ADVOCACY EFFORTS BY MONITORING POLICY CHANGES, ENGAGING WITH LOCAL AND REGIONAL LEADERS, AND PROMOTING PRO- HOUSING STRATEGIES TO SUPPORT WNC'S GROWING NEEDS. H. THE ASSOCIATION EXPNADED INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIPS TO CULTIVATE A SKILLED WORKFORCE PIPELINE AND INCREASE AWARENESS OF CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION TRADES. I. THE ASSOCIATION SUPPORTED LONG-TERM REGIONAL RECOVERY FOLLOWING HURRICANE HELENE, WHICH SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACTED MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THEY ESTABLISHED AND LED A MULTI-COMMITEE DISASTER RECOVERY TASK FORCE TO COORDINATE VOLUNTEER SUPPORT, RESOURCE DISTRIBUTION, PARTNER COLLABORATION, AND COMMUNICATION THROUGHOUT THE REBUILDING PROCESS.
