This is accomplished through a variety of programs/services offered such as Supported Employment, Work Adjustment, Day Supports, Sheltered Employment, Adult Developmental Vocational Program and Enrichment Services.

“990 is provided for review to all board members at the October meeting before 990 is filed.”

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15

“Human Resources annually provides the Personnel Committee of the Board the National Executive Compensation Survey along with salary histories for the Executives. The Personnel Committee will review the survey and the company's financial health to determine if increases will be recommended to the full Board for approval. The full board sets the salary increases and ranges for the CEO, CFO, and COO based on recommendations from the personnel committee. HR will review Catapult's (formerly Capital Associated Industries) NC Wage & Salary survey to propose pay for all other positions, this is presented to the Executives for their approval. This survey is also used to propose salary increases based on the regional average. Proposals are submitted to the board each year during the budget approval process. The last review of salaries was in April 2025.”

Source America is the national nonprofit agency designated by the Committee for Purchase from People who are Blind or Severely Disabled to provide technical assistance to Community Rehabilitation Programs interested in obtaining federal contracts under the Javits Wagner(JWOD) Program. The VA contracts for 31 FTE's. They cover 3 shifts 7 days a week.
