“Assets and contributions for which the donor stipulates that resources be maintained permanently are considered endowment funds. “The Foundation is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). Accordingly, the accompanying financial statements do not reflect a provision or liability for federal and state income taxes. The Foundation follows the Financial Accounting Standards Board's (FASB) authoritative guidance on accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. Tax positions must meet a recognition threshold of more-likely-than-not for the benefit or obligation of those tax positions to be recognized in the financial statements. The Foundation has determined that it does not have any material unrecognized tax benefits or obligations at June 30, 2024 and June 30, 2023.”
