Mission

To advance the production of new renewable water supplies through the use of seawater, brackish water, desalination, water recycling and the cleanup of contaminated groundwater and to foster the general public's education regarding the creation of freshwater supplies through the above stated methods.

To encourage the development of projects that create new water supplies not currently available.

The Coalition entered into a management agreement with The Furman Group (TFG). TFG provides management, legislative, administrative and other related services to the Coalition. TFG is owned by Hal Furman, NWSC Executive Director. There were no payments made or accrued during the year between the Coalition and TFG.

The Coalition is a trade association consisting of members from public water agencies and utilities throughout the nation.

Each Voting Member shall be entitled to appoint one director. A director shall be an elected board member of the appointing Voting Member agency or a senior level staff manager within such agency.
