In addition, the organization qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under section 170(b)(1)(a) and has been classified as an entity that is not a private foundation under 509(a)(1). The organization had no unrelated business income during the year ended june 30, 2024. Accordingly, no provision for income taxes has been provided. Accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america require the organization to evaluate tax positions taken by the organization and recognize a tax liability or asset if the organization has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would be sustained upon examination by the internal revenue services (irs). The organization has concluded that as of june 30, 2023, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability or asset or disclosure in the financial statements. Generally, tax returns for years ended june 30, 2020, and thereafter remain subject to examination by federal and state tax authorities.”
