“To be an active member of the association for the period of any given year (july 1st to june 30th), an alumnus or graduate shall pay the annual dues for that year or have otherwise qualified for life membership as determined by the board. Payment of dues constitutes full membership, entitling the member to receive all publications of the association, eligibility to be elected to the board, and to all other privileges which the association may extend. Members of the faculty, parents of students and alumni, spouses or friends of associate members and friends of the university shall be eligible for an associate membership upon payment of the required dues. An associate member shall receive all publications of the association and be entitled to all the privileges of active membership, except the right to be elected to the board or to serve as an officer of the association.”
