“Multiple lectures hosted throughout the year covering various topics. These lectures were co-sponsored with calvert library and john hanson chapter nsdar. The museum hosted 5 different authors for numerous book signings. The museum created 4 new historical displays and sponsored the publishing of 2 historical books.”

“Community participation and events through out the year including booths at the weekly farmer's market. The museum hosted two film festivals for the community. The museum is open for special groups and events for the boy scout troops, lego clubs, story time etc. Museum also involved in local parades and the annual dragon boat races.”

“The museum created and provided special scanvenger hunts for ap students that coincided with required lists/assignments provided by high school faculty. Hundreds of students,their friends and parents visit the museum to complete their assignments. Also, hhs ap studets are creating new exhibit for the the american revolution.”
