The volunteers of the James City Bruton Volunteer Fire Department respond to a wide variety of emergency incidents including fires, vehicle accidents, technical rescues, maritime emergencies, HAZMAT incidents and emergency medical events. Typically, these incidents total nearly 1500 annually.
