Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

IRS990/Desc0RAPID RE-HOUSING SERVICES IS ONE OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAYS TO MOVE HOMELESS HOUSEHOLDS AND THOSE EXPERIENCING VIOLENCE TO PERMANENT HOUSING AND ECONOMIC STABILITY. RAPID RE-HOUSING PLACES A PRIORITY ON MOVING RESIDENTS QUICKLY TO THEIR OWN HOUSING USING A VARIETY OF STRATEGIES. WHEN A PERSON/AND OR THEIR FAMILY ENTERS EMERGENCY HOUSING, THE FIRST PRIORITY SUBSEQUENT TO SAFETY IS DEVELOPING A HOUSING PLAN. THROUGH THE USE OF AN OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE-BASED ASSESSMENT TOOL, RESIDENTS ARE ASSESSED FOR A TYPE OF HOUSING THAT BEST MEETS THEIR NEEDS AND ARE ASSIGNED TO A HOUSING TEAM. HOUSING LOCATORS WILL ASSIST PEOPLE IN OBTAINING HOUSING AND WITH MOVE-IN. CASE MANAGERS ASSIST UP TO ONE YEAR TO REDUCE RECIDIVISM. 530 INDIVIDUALS WERE ASSISTED THIS YEAR.
