Mission

To educate Members of Congress, their staff, members of the public about coal mining, coal use, coal fired electricity and other coal related topics. We hold approximately 3-5 lunch briefings per year and one annual awards gala or awards reception at the end of the year.

To educate, discuss, and communicate to all individuals with any issues and interest relating to the coal industry.

We held 2 educational lunch briefings open to members of Congress, staff of the legislative and executive branches, and private citizens. Lunch is free for those who for Congress, $25 for those who work for executive agencies, and $50 for everyone else. We held an awards lunch where we gave awards to Congress Ed Whitfield, Ben Yamagata with the Coal Utilization Research Council, and Sen. Mitch McConnell for their work advocating for the coal industry in their respective fields and capacities of private employment and pubic offices.$0$14,988
