In the fall of 2020, we were able to add a second bunk room to enable males and females to have separate sleeping quarters. The volunteers turned the existing office into a bunk room and were able to build' a new office from some of the pace in the meeting room. This is just another example of how the membership gives their time and energy to the squad. The squad holds one fund drive a year, as well as several fund raising dinners to raise money to cover the operating expenses of the squad, as well as maintain the equipment and facilities. Southampton county generously provides the majority of our funding, as well as franklin southampton charities and the camp foundations and we work hard to cover the gap between our funding and expenses, as well as save for future projects. During the fund drive over the past few years. The squad has been selling blue reflective 911 address signs. This has been a great success. Not only does it help the squad with funding, but it is also a huge help to the volunteers and staff when trying to locate the addresses of those in need the board of directors voted in november 2021 to purchase a new ambulance to replace another ambulance that is 19 years old. We are extremely excited to be able to make this happen and it will enable us to continue providing a high level of service to our community and to continue to meet the state and federal standards.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LVOR VOLUNTEER RESCUE SQUAD INCLUDE SAVING LIVES, ADMINISTERING EMERGENCY FIRST AID, AND PROMOTING SAFETY IN OUR AREA. THE SQUAD IS RUN BY A COMBINATION OF VOLUNTEERS AND A PAID EMERGENCY CREW. THE SQUAD HAS SERVED ITS COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES SINCE 1959. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE ALSO INCLUDED IN THE SQUAD'S ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION, ARTICLE II AND MAKE OF 100% OF THE TOTAL ACTIVITY TIME. FROM AUGUST 2020 THROUGH JULY 2021, THE DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF ANSWERED THE CALL FOR HELP 342 TIMES. OVER L,900 MAN HOURS WERE SPENT ANSWERING CALLS AND TRAINING, AS WELL AS MANY OTHER ACTIVITIES BY OUR DEVOTED MEMBERSHIP. THE SQUAD PROUDLY PARTICIPATES IN ALL COMMUNITY EVENTS INCLUDING THE TOWN OF IVOR CHRISTMAS PARADE AND 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS.
