The trustees of the plan approved a merger with teamsters local 639 - employers health trust effective june 1, 2019. Under the terms of the merger, the teamsters local 639 plan agreed to provide coverage for the remaining participants in the bsd plan and will assume all assets and liabilities of the bsd plan after june 1, 2018. The bsd trustees agreed to wind down the plan and to complete all necessary actions related to the termination of the bsd 33 industry welfare plan. The plan ceased operations in april 2019.

Form 990, Part XI, Line 9

Effective june 1, 2018, the fund merged with teamsters local 639 - employer health trust fund. In accordance with the merger agreement, 80% of the fund's assets were transferred to local 639 on june 1, 2018. The remaining assets were retained by the fund and used to settle the outstanding liabilities and wind down the plan. The remaining assets were transfered to local 639 in january and apil 2019, whereupon the plan ceased operations.
