“The association has regular, associate, and affiliate members. Regular members provide a broad range of aeronautical services to the aviation community including:aircraft sales and acquisitions, fuel, aircraft ground support, passenger and crew services, aicraft parking and storage, on-demand air charter, aircraft rental, flight training, aircraft maintenance and overhaul facilities, parts sales, and business aircraft and fractional ownership fleet management. Regular members satisfy the requirements set forth in article v of the associations bylaws. A regular member may qualify as both an air carrier and an aviation service company. Associate members are those who are not eligible to be regular members, but who are engaged in pursuits related directly or indirectly to commercial or general aviation or who might reasonably expect to benefit from the successful growth and development of the air transportation industry. Associate members are eligible to participate in the affairs of the association to the same extent as regular members, except that associate members are not entitled to vote and their officers and employees are not eligible to serve on the board of directors. Affiliate members are restricted to colleges and universities, and members of their faculties, state and local government, and agencies and departments therefore, and state aviation association.
