Effective 7/1/2024, ncsea increased its number of regional vp's on the executive board from 12 to 16.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7B

Members of the council determine the amount and method of payment of dues. At any duly called meeting of the council the members may, by a majority of those present, change either of these items. They may also, by a two-thirds vote of those present, make amendments to the council's bylaws. Members meet at least twice per year, once in the fall and once in the summer. At the summer meeting, the members vote to approve the budget (as put forth and recommended by the executive committee) for the succeeding year.

The documents are first sent to the ncsea executive director for review. They are then sent to the organization's four officers. Each officer signals approval through either a conference call or email ballot.

The conflict of interest policy is reviewed annually. The board is required to disclose any conflicts of interest on an annual basis. If a conflict is raised, the executive director interviews the officer or director to understand the conflict and then reminds the officer or director to abstain from votes in conflict.
