“Midwestern region - the positions of 1st and 2nd vice president are eliminated and replaced with vice president and vice president - elect. - any voting member of the board of directors and any elective officer may be recalled by vote of the body which elected them. - a recall election is held when a quorum of members of the mwr board request a recall in writing to the president of the board. Midatlantic region - membership voted to provide more autonomy for state task forces to choose their own members. New england region - an addition to appointed officers will include a non-voting, presidential appointed historian position. - the new england region's constituion and bylaws is now one document, the ner bylaws. Southeastern region - the immediate past president rather than the nominating committee will faciliate the biennial election. - the election process has been updated to reflect that the process is performed online rather than by mail. - the online results will now be retained electronically and password protected rather than kept in paper form for 6 months following the election. Southwestern region - the sw region is implementing electronic voting practices with the option of mailing ballots for those without electronic access. - bylaws changes update wording to reflect online vs mailed ballots. Western region - the vice president's job description no longer indicates that they sit on the executive committee.”
