“The Board of Directors of Elliot L. Richardson Prize Fund ("ELRPF"), a supporting organization of the National Academy of Public Administration ("the Academy"), decided by unanimous vote to dissolve its corporate form and become a committee of the Board of Directors of the Academy, which is also a nonprofit corporation organized under, and in compliance with, the requirements of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954. ELRPF, a Delaware corporation, was dissolved effective on or about September 23, 2020, and all assets were transferred to the Acacademy in September 2021.”

“The Prize Fund had no committees with the authority to act on behalf of the governing body.”

“The Federal Form 990 is reviewed by the CFO, then distributed to the Board of Directors prior to filing with the Internal Revenue Service.”

“The Prize Fund does not directly hire or compensate employees. All employees are employees of the National Academy of Public Administration. The cost of the Academy's officers and key employees are allocated under the terms of a cost sharing arrangement.”

“The Prize Fund's governing documents and financial statements are made available to the public upon request.”

“Elliot L. Richardson Prize Fund does not directly hire or compensate employees. All employees are employees of National Academy of Public Administration, a related organization exempt under Section 501(C)(3). National Academy of Public Administration and the Fund have entered into a cost sharing arrangement under which the fund reimburses National Academy of Public Administration for the Fund's allocable share of the compensation of certain employees for performing services provided to the Fund. Compensation reimbursed by the Fund is not additive to the compensation reported by National Academy of Public Administration.”
