IRS990/Desc0Digital Literacy Classes: Byte Back offers digital literacy courses at various levels to enable DC residents to learn to use technology and to gain skills for employment. In FY15, 1063 students enrolled in computer literacy classes; 80% of those completed the class. In Byte Back's digital literacy classes, students learn to use a computer, the Internet, and essential software (such as Microsoft Office) to apply for jobs, communicate via email, manage their healthcare and finances, and participate in their community and government. We offer customized classes for Spanish-speakers, senior citizens, and low literacy learners.

Graduates of these courses obtain careers such as computer support specialist, administrative assistant, and network systems administrator. A+ students complete an internship through Byte Back's First Time Technology program, in which they collect used computers and other IT devices to refurbish and recycle.
