During the FY23 season, Opera Lafayette presented educational events at such DMV institutions as The Library of Congress, Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital, Tregaron Conservancy, and Stanford in Washington; in NY, our events were hosted at French Institute: Alliance Francaise and the United Palace theater. We also had several sessions of our online adult learning program, Salon Series, which is able to engage with people across the country and the globe.Young Artist Program is a subcategory under Community engagement. Opera Lafayette is committed to the mentorship of talented, young artist in the field of historical music. Several young artists were selected in this calendar year to receive coachings from experts in their field, along with diction coaching and the opportunity to participate in a fully staged opera. |
