The conflict of interest policy is reviewed and signed by all board members at the beginning of each year. The signed conflict of interest policy is reviewed with the board members prior to every face-to-face meeting and referenced during activities involving the board. Also, staff sign the conflict of interest policy yearly.

Ptcb evaluates uncertainty in income tax positions based on a more-likely-than-not recognition standard. If that threshold is met, the tax position is then measured at the largest amount that is greater than 50% likely of being realized upon ultimate settlement. As of december 31, 2024 and 2023, there are no accruals for uncertain tax positions. If applicable, ptcb records interest and penalties as a component of income tax expense. Tax years from 2020 through the current year remain open for examination by tax authorities.

PTCB DEVELOPS, MAINTAINS, PROMOTES AND ADMINISTERS A NATIONAL COMMISSION OF CERTIFYING AGENCIES (NCCA) ACCREDITED CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR PHARMACY TECHNICIANS. THE PTCB CPHT EXAMINATION WAS DEVELOPED BY PTCB TO DETERMINE WHETHER INDIVIDUALS HAVE MASTERED THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NECESSARY TO PRACTICE AS A PHARMACY TECHNICIAN. SINCE 1995, PTCB HAS CERTIFIED 842,971 PHARMACY TECHNICIANS THROUGH THE EXAM AND TRANSFER PROCESS.
