Mission

Women's Policy, Inc. is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization whose sole focus is to help ensure that the most informed decisions on key women's issues are made by policymakers at the federal, state, and local levels.

See Schedule O for description of organization's missionWomen's Policy, Inc. (WPI) was established in 1995 after the U.S. House of Representatives voted to eliminate the staff and funding for all caucus organizations, including the Congressional Caucus for Women's Issues. A nonprofit, nonpartisan public policy organization, WPI's mission is to bring women policymakers together across party lines to work on issues of importance to women and their families.

In addition, WPI serves as a resource to Congress, women's organizations, academia, the media, and the public, answering inquiries and providing information on women's issues and the history of the Congressional Caucus for Women's Issues.
