MEMBER SERVICES - The year 2014 was an unusual and a transformational year for USGIC. One of the major areas of activity for USGIC for many years has been working to ensure a stable and quiet radio spectrum environment in order to preserve the reliable reception of GPS signals across the entire range of GPS-based applications and services for users in the United States and worldwide. To accomplish this goal USGIC and its member companies monitor regulatory developments affecting the radio frequency bands used by GHPS, as well as proposals and developments in neighboring bands which could cause potential interference with GHPS signals. Recent years have seen an increase in activity and concerns in this area. As a consequence of this activity, USGIC was engaged in litigation for the entire year, and our activities were concentrated almost exclusively in dealing with the litigation.--
