The organization contracts with a cpa firm to produce financial statements, all statements are reviewed by the finance committee of the board of directors and submitted to the full board of directors for acceptance.

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization is exempt from federal income taxes, except as to unrelated business activities, under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and the applicable income tax regulations of the state of maryland. The organization is not a private foundation and is exempt from taxes on income other than unrelated business income. No provision for income taxes is required for 2024 or 2023. The organization's income tax returns are subject to review and examination by federal and state taxing authorities. The organization is not aware of any activities that would jeopardize its tax-exempt status. Income tax returns for the years ended june 30, 2023, 2022, and 2021, are open to examination by the taxing jurisdictions.

FOLLOW-UP SUPPORT IS GIVEN TO ALL REHOUSED HOUSEHOLDS TO ENSURE LONG-TERM STABILITY. THE PROGRAM'S ACTIVITIES REHOUSED20 HOUSEHOLDS, 6 PREVENTED EVICTIONS, AND SERVED 300 INDIVIDUALS, 125 WERE CHILDREN.

THE PROGRAM PROVIDED 5 SCATTERED SITE HOMES FOR 20 INDIVIDUALS, 15 WERE CHILDREN.FAMILY HOME START PROGRAM: PROVIDES HOUSING ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES THAT ARE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS AND HAVE CHILDREN IN THE HOWARD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS. THIS PROGRAM WAS LAUNCHED IN FEBRUARY 2024 AND REHOUSED 20 HOUSEHOLDS, AND ASSISTED 223 INDIVIDUALS, 117 WERE CHILDREN.
