Promotion and encouragement of public interest and support of the advanced understanding of bowen family system theory. To provide therapy services as part of its educational programs. The revisions transitioned from a prior membership-based governance model to a board-governed structure with defined board size (5-7 directors), term limits, quorum and voting standards, and clarified officer roles. The amended bylaws formally define the executive director as the chief administrator reporting to the board and establish standing committees, indemnification provisions, and electronic meeting and signature allowances. The fiscal year (september 1 - august 31) was also formally codified. These changes were adopted to strengthen governance clarity and align with current nonprofit best practices.”
