Yes covid 19 and the restrictions from march 14 2020 did seriously impact this all volunteer fire department located on an isolated island 8 miles into the chesapeake bay. All fundraising activities have remained limited and proved to be costly; we will probably never get back to activities without restrictions - which impeeds public donations; we continue in earnest to perpetuate this isolated fire department. Due to receipt of 1 grant funding from somerset county health department for the purchase of a 2021 fully equiped ambulance; this entity for the very first time is required to file a full form 990 - rather than our normal 990ez.
