The community foundation is dedicated to connecting people who care with causes that matter to enrich the quality of life in frederick county now and for future generations.
Generous donors create positive impact in the lives of frederick county citizens through grants and scholarships. In fy2024, grants totaling $6,310,590 benefited 331 nonprofits serving the community, supporting their critical programs and providing services to thousands of residents. Scholarships for post-secondary study (including career training) totaling $2,136,556 were awarded to 373 students. As a result, the well-being, growth, and success of frederick county citzens and our community -at-large were improved, and community members were motivated to participate in community foundation initiatives.
