Anne arundel county farm bureau has two classes of membership, regular and associate. 1 regular members are those members who are engaged in the raising of crops such as corn, wheat, soybeans, etc. Livestock/poultry production equine and other farming activities either full or part time. Such members have full voting rights. 2 associate members are those members who may have an interest in farming activities but are not engaged in farming activities for profit. These members have the same rights as regular members except they do not have the right to vote on farm bureau matters or to hold the office of president or vice president.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7A

Regular members as definited above in part vi, line 6, are the only members who have the power to elect or appoint regular members of the governing body. This is done at the anne arundel county farm bureaus annual meeting based on the report of a board of directors appointed nominating comitteee and regular members recommendations taken from the floor. Five percent or 30 of the organizations regular members whichever is greater shall constitute a quorum. The sitting board of directors has the power to fill all vacancies on the governing body caused by death, resignation, removal, or otherwise until the next annual or special meeting. Directors at large of the governing body are appointed by the president and approved by the board of directors.
