The monitoring tool used by the department of aging and rehabilitation requires that the determination of the salary of all agency positions including the executive director's compensation is based on a recent regional based compensation study (no older than 4 years). In 2017, the aaa's including lake country area agency on aging participated in a compensation study conducted and compliled by penisula area agency on aging. At leaset 60% of the aaa's participated in the study. This study which is the most current replaces the study conducted by jaba.
