Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The corporation is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, except for unrelated business income as defined in the code. The corporation did not have any unrelated business income during the year ended december 31, 2024. Accordingly, no provisions for income taxes have been included in the accompanying consolidated financial statements. Falls church winter hill, llc and winter hill member, llc are related limited liability companies. No provision or benefit for income taxes for these limited liability companies have been included in the consolidated financial statements since taxable income or loss pass through to members in their individual capacity. The corporation has adopted fasb asc 740, income taxes, which clarified the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. Based on its evaluation, the corporation has concluded that there are no significant uncertain tax positions requiring recognition in the consolidated financial statements. No interest or penalties have been recorded as a result of tax uncertainties.
